Friends of Sound Horses (FOSH) and Mid-Atlantic Sound Horses are pleased to announce that the 2008 North American Pleasure Gaited Horse Championship will be returning to Lexington, Virginia in 2008.

The three and one-half day event is currently planned for June 25 th through June 28th at the Virginia Horse Center.  In past years, the multi-breed event has offered classes for Tennessee Walking Horses, Spotted Saddle Horses, Rocky Mountain Horses, Peruvian Pasos, Gaited Morgans and Open Gaited Breeds.   Halter, Versatility, English, Western, Dressage, Trail and many other types of classes will be offered.  The FOSH North American Pleasure Gaited Horse Championship offers an ideal means for gaited horse enthusiasts to view various breeds of gaited horses all in one venue.

With FOSH becoming an exhibiting showcase for many gaited breeds, the June timing of the event will not interfere with end of season championships shows offered by many of the participating gaited breeds.  A June event also provides a better opportunity for youths to fully participate in the entire show.
